I tried to cheer on a hiker with an ice axe on his pack, that he was close to the pass. He grumbled that he did this for the 38th time and hence needed no advice. Later I heard him say: close to the pass that is BS; Bishop Pass, Inyo National Forest, California, June 21, 2022, 11:41
