People on the trail

Met with a few North to South Lake backpackers. Over Piute Pass that would be 52 miles. The ranger I saw yesterday joined too. The fire is a prescribed fire in the Giant forest, south from here. It will burn for a week. Also the wind remains south to southwest; PCT/ JMT just north of Bishop Pass Trail junction, Kings Canyon National Park, California, June 16, 2022, 09:45
