People on the trail

I’m on the rocks above camp. I see three backpackers coming through the valley below. One is stopping for water from the creek. Another is turning back from the false trail. Just as I did. The third one is now taking water too. 5:41pm The third has become another camp mate. He started at Mather Pass, this morning. He Carries 6 days of food. His next resupply is VVR, some resort.
