People on the trail

Met a PCTer at the Bishop Pass Trail junction. He just got his six-days resupply with too much candy, from his friend who is an ultra-runner. Although he seemed most pleased with the fresh battery. His friend came from South Lake and is running back the same day. Can’t imagine doing Bishop Pass back and forth in one day. Apparently it is 77F in Bishop. The PCTer told me that on the previous section he carried 13 days of food, just because he does not want to spend the time going in town and back.
