Young woman came down on her way to pick up the PCT where she left it 10 years ago when her friend was helicoptered out. In Dusy Basin she advised not to camp close to the lakes but look for some ridges that block the wind. She also said that the cold at my camp, this morning, is simply the consequence of cold air stuck in the narrow canyon.
